Join our 'Sporting Hackney Mind' World Cup Programme Have you got football fever?! Don't miss out on this summer's World Cup football fever- join our football coaching sessions! Football training is a great way to get mentally and physically healthy while having fun and meeting new people. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join our 8-week summer programme starting Saturday 23rd June 10.30-12pm to 11th August at Hackney Marshes. We're excited to collaborate with Sporting Hackney Football Club and the London Football Association for an exciting new Saturday morning programme. Who is it for? We welcome all ages, particularly those with physical disabilities and /or mental health problem in these fun, inclusive sessions. The programme aims to tackle loneliness, bring people together and improve wellbeing. Don't worry if you haven't played before or you're a bit rusty; we welcome absolute beginners and more experienced people - we'll coach to suit all levels. Carers and family members are also welcome - to join in or to cheer! What will it be like? You'll be trained by professional football coaches allowing you to improve your skills, get fit but most of all have fun! We welcome absolute beginners or people who have played before - we'll coach to suit all levels. What are the benefits? Sport is known to improve mood and increase confidence and self-esteem. It's also a great way to enjoy the summer, improve fitness levels while spending time outside and meeting new people. The first session will be kicking off on Saturday 23rd June 10.30-12pm and will continue until 11th August at Hackney Marshes.
