Wellbeing Events for Runners Please join us for our exciting programme of wellbeing events for our runners in the lead-up to the Hackney Half! For our second event, we look forward to welcoming extreme marathon runner and Mind CHWF fundraising extraordinaire, Allie Bailey, for a talk & Q&A about her incredible experience with running and mental health.All events will take place at our offices on 8 - 10 Tudor Rd, just off Mare St in Hackney. If you're signed up for a Hackney Half Marathon place with us, come along to get the most out of your experience, and meet your fellow Mind team members! Wednesday 25th April 6:30-8pmRelentless Forward Progress: Running For Mental Health Talk and Q&A with Allie BaileyAllie Bailey is running ALL the races in 2018 to raise £3000 for Mind CHWF. She broke a record this year as one of just two women to ever cross a 100-mile length of a frozen lake in Mongolia. This is just one of the 20 ultra-events and marathons that she will participate in this year. After suffering a severe mental breakdown last year, Allie said: “I’ve suffered with depression for 10 years, and Mind are a charity I completely believe in.” Allie is a passionate advocate for running as therapy.
