What we do We provide an innovative range of evidence-based services for people with experience of mental ill health, promoting wellbeing, resilience and recovery.In 2015-16 , Mind in the City and Hackney... • Supported over 3,500 clients • Provided over 1,493 therapy sessions • Delivered over 12,500 hours of advocacy support • Provided support to 480 clients in hospital and 6551 hours of advocacy support in the community. • Enabled 246 people to complete accredited, non-accredited and informal education courses including IT, numeracy, literacy and English as a Foreign Language, delivering over 1,350 learning hours. • Helped clients to claim over £85,514 in welfare payments. • Supported 63 clients into employment, 89 clients into education or training and 32 clients into voluntary work, • Assisted 48 clients to retain their jobs. • Reached over 1,200 children and young people in schools and community centres, • Supported 623 clients detained in police custody.
