Mind in the City, Hackney and Waltham Forest is developing its specialist services for young people and children. We are looking for a passionate and motivated person with an interest in peer support and young people’s mental health to join our Specialist Peer Services Department.

The Youth Peer Services Coordinator (YPSC) will work on two new wellbeing projects; providing mental health training to staff in schools and youth centres, and delivering a peer advocacy programme for young people.

The YPSC will play an integral role in the development and delivery of the youth led services in schools and the local community. They will build long lasting professional relationships with other local organisations through outreach work and maintain regular and consistent contact with the peer volunteers. There will also be opportunities to co-design and deliver events and wellbeing sessions for young people in the community.

To apply, please follow the link below. Early application is encouraged, deadline is 5pm on 28th May 2018. Interviews expected on the 6th and 7th of June 2018.
